Description

Folios 429-430: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Little Nore. Regarding the case of Robert Garford, Mate of the Hannah, said to be on board HMS Hound.

Folios 431-432: enclosure with folios 429-430. Letter dated 5 August 1803 by [?], London to Sir Evan Nepean. Regarding the illegal impressment of Robert Garford, Mate of the Hannah, and asking for his release.

Folio 433: enclosure with folios 429-430. Oath sworn 30 June 1803 at South Shields by Thomas Gardner. Regarding Robert Garford of South Shields, aged about 50.
