Folios 284-285: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. Reply to letter dated 7 May 1803 requesting he state the case of Thomas Rhodes, Mate of the Brig Grocer. He reports that there being easements in the affidavit he produced and his having entered Voluntary into His Majesty's Service he was sent to the Nore.
Folios 286-287: enclosures with folios 284-285. Letter dated 5 May 1803 by John Brown, London, to the Admiralty. Requests the discharge of Thomas Rhodes, Mate of the Brig Grocer under John Brown Command.
Folios 288-289: enclosure with folios 284-285. Letter dated 5 May 1803 by John Brown, to the Admiralty. Affidavit by John Brown Master of the Brig Grocer of Hull, that Thomas Rhodes Mate of the Grocer engaged in the Herring Trade.
