Folios 279-280: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. Reply to letter dated 5 May 1803 requesting he state the case of Noah Bird, apprentice. He reports that he was impressed on HMS Hound and that there was no evident arrangement in the Indenture produced in his favour which appears still further to have been altered. He was sent to the Nore.
Folio 281: enclosure with folios 279-280. Affidavit of Henry Joplin of Sunderland, Master of the Janus belonging to the Port of Sunderland, and that Noah Bird and Joseph Parson apprentices serving on board the Brig. Sworn before Richard Foley on 3 May 1803.
