Folios 269-270: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. Reply to letter dated 5 May 1803 requesting he stats the case of Joseph Pearson an Apprentice. He reports that having discovered him to be more that 3 years at sea and more particularly he has voluntarily entered into His Majesty's Service he judges it lawful to detain him.
