Folios 265-266: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. Reply to letter dated 3 May 1803 requesting he state the case of Robert Burton impressed on board HMS Constant. He reports that Lieutenant Stokes reported the said case as a doubtful one , a few days ago, but since the receipt of your letter, having duly examined the case, he finds the man is now in possession of satisfactory documents and has ordered his discharge.
Folios 267-268: enclosure with folios 265-266. Letter dated 2 May 1803 by George Wilkinson, London, to the Admiralty. Petition for the discharge of Robert Burton, Chief Mate of the ship Barton.
