Folios 246-247: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. Reply to letter dated 19 April 1803 requesting he state the case of C Wasserman said to be a subject of Sweden and on board HMS Aggressor. He reports that although he was impressed into the Complement of HMS Aggressor without his interference. He has examined and finding that he had served in the late War in His Majesty's Service and had received Bounty and was taken out of an English Merchantman with no protection or written documents. He sanctioned his detention in His Majesty's Service.
