Description

Folios 44-45: Keith Maxwell, HMS Hound, Deptford. He reports that he has last evening he impressed one hundred and twenty five men by a detachment of Boats belonging to His Majesty's Sloops and Vessels at Deptford. He mentions that Captain Alexander Robert Kerr and Charles Coote of HMS Diligence and HMS Ranger employed since yesterday morning in surveying the Four hundred and Twenty eight men already impressed, and hope to have their report by twelve o'clock this day.

Folio 46: enclosure with folios 44-45. A List of Men Sent on Board HMS Locust Gun Brig on the 10 March 1803 by the Right Honourable Lord Probe. [List with 32 men listed]. John Lake Lieutenant & Commander.

Folio 47: enclosure with folios 44-45. Account of Prest men on board His Majesty's Ships at Greenhithe:- HMS Amelia - 74, HMS African - 140, HMS Constance - 7, HMS Cruiser - 4 & HMS Woolwich - 8. Total = 232.

Folios 48-48A: enclosure with folios 44-45. A List of men Impressed by the five Boats of the Division under the Command of His Right Honourable Esq. Alexander Robert Kerr Captain HMS Diligence Sloop, 8 March 1803. [Total 146 men listed].

Folio 49: enclosure with folios 44-45. List of men taken on Board HMS La Virginie on 9 March 1803 but not victualled or entered. Signed George[?] Mowbray. [List of 31 Men].

Folios 50-52: enclosure with folios 44-45. List of Twenty one Men and one Boy sent on Board HMS Jalouse with two boats at Deptford on 9 March 1803 by order of the Senior and Commanding Officer at Deptford. [List of 23 men].

Folios 52-58: enclosure with folios 44-45. List of Men Impressed by the boats of His Majesty's Ships at Deptford 8 March 1803 Under the Direction of Captain Charles Coote of HMS Ranger. [List with 170 Men listed].
