Folios 303-304: Graham Moore, HMS Syren, the Downs. Advises that his ship is 11 men short of her Compliment and he has just received orders to discharge 58 Supernumeraries to HMS Polyphemus, 54 of whom voluntarily entered for HMS Syren. Advises that 12 volunteers for HMS Syren are on board the Flag ship who are all his old ship mates. Asks for the 12 seamen on board HMS Leopard to be discharged into his ship, especially as he understands that the Admiralty intend to turn all those crew members of HMS Syren, who were with his predecessor, into HMS Apollo.
