Folios 251-252: Robert Montagu, HMS Hector, Portsmouth Harbour. Advises that John Robinson, Seaman, has deserted and as he had fraudulently obtained the Bounty he is particularly keen to have him apprehended. Attaches a description and details that may assist the Marshall to search for him in London, where he probably has gone.
Folio 253: enclosed with folios 251-252. Letter dated 17 June 1793 by James Probert, Leadenhall Street, London, to Mr. Allin. Advises receipt of letter dated 10 June 1793 asking whether he had received his assent bond and expenses. Confirms he did, the bond by Barker and the money by Lovett which he hopes to give an account of on his return.
