Second party: Payn the carpenter of Linc' [Lincoln].
Place or subject: Certain land in the bailiwick that lies between the land which was of Robert Black and the land which Lelle the baker of Lincoln Castle has. To hold in fee and inheritance of Thomas and his heirs to Payn and his heirs or assigns, excepting religious houses, paying 5s to Thomas and his heirs a year for all service and exaction, namely 2s 6d at Easter and 2s 6d at Michaelmas.
