First party: Simon de Bona Villa [Bonvile] and Sibyl, his wife.

Second party: John de Lascy [Lacy], earl of Lincoln and constable of Chester.

Place or subject: Simon and Sibyl demised to John their whole share of the manor of Segesbroch [Sedgebrook] in all things, and the whole right and claim which they ever had, or could have, without any reservation. To hold to John and his heirs from the Purification of the Blessed Mary, 19 Hen III [2 Feb 1235] of Simon and Sibyl, as long as Sibyl lives, paying them every single year throughout her life six marks at Easter for all services and exactions, for which John is to pay in advance to Simon and Sibyl the farm of the first three years, namely eighteen marks, and one robe of 40s, which money together with the robe they ought to be paid within the Close of Easter after the Purification. After the term of three years is completed, John and his heirs are held every single year at Easter to Simon and Sibyl in the payment of six marks, as long as Sibyl is alive.
