Description

Folios: 442-442v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter H. Quitclaim.

First party: Nicholas, son of John de Lunderthorp [Londonthorpe].

Second party: Henry de Lascy [Lacy], earl of Lincoln.

Place or subject: All of Nicholas's right and claim in all lands and tenements of which Robert de Horbling and Isabel, his wife, were jointly enfeoffed in Horbling, just as their charters of enfeoffment more fully and truly bear witness. And also the tenements which William, son of John of Horblyng [Horbling], kinsman and heir of Margaret, Robert's sister, quitclaimed to Isabel and her heirs or assigns, namely one place of one toft, of which Robert and Isabel were jointly enfeoffed by Robert de Burton in Horblyng [Horbling]; and one toft and croft in the same vill by William, son of Hugh de Halweton; four acres of arable land by Maud, daughter of William son of David, in the same; one acre and a half of arable land by Geoffrey, son of Geoffrey de Ouseby in the same; 6½ acres of arable and newly broken land and one headland of newly broken land by Alan Hardy in the same; 3s of annual rent by Thomas, son of William son of Thomas the chaplain, in the same; and eight acres of arable land and half a bovate of meadow which Alan Hardy of Horblyng and Beatrice, his wife, held for the term of their lives of Robert's gift Robert in Horbling.
