First party: William, son of Humphrey de Manneby [Manby].
Second party: Philip Galle of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: Four selions of land with appurtenances lying in the territory of Cokerinton [Cockerington], namely three selions lie on the east side of the vill, two selions of which lie between the land of John Vavasor [Vavasour] on the west side and the land of the nuns of Alvingham on the east side, the limits of which abut towards the south upon the watercourse, namely Lebeck, and towards the north upon the way of Lady Nichola de Sancta Maria; and the third selion lies between the land of Lady Nichola, which Osbert the hayward holds of William, being Nichola's villein, on the west side, and the land of John Vavasur on the east side, whose limits abut towards the south upon that watercourse and towards the north upon that way; and the fourth selion lies upon Kirtill on the west side of the vill. For one mark which Philip gave to William in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to William and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all services, secular customs, suits of courts and demands.
