Description

Folio: 426. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter F. Obligation.

First party: William de Redburn [Redbourne].

Second party: Philip Galle.

Place or subject: William has bound himself to Philip by his charter to warrant to Philip and his heirs one and a half acres and one perch in the territory of Cokerington [Cockerington] with appurtenances, whenever they need a warrant, which lands Philip bought from Lambert le Cuteys and Sigrych, his wife. William has also granted Philip and his heirs two selions in the same territory in a place called Wylg, containing one acre, lying between Philip's land on the west side and the land which William the carpenter once held on the east side, whose limit abuts towards the north upon the land of the nuns of Alvyngham [Alvingham] and towards the south upon the land of John le Vavasur [Vavasour]. For half a mark which Philip gave to William in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs of William and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance.
