Description

Folio: 425v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter F. Grant.

First party: William, son of William de Redeburne [Redbourne].

Second party: Philip Galle.

Place or subject: Three acres of land in the territory of Cokerincton [Cockerington], two selions of which lie between the land of William Pitinc on the west side and of Lady Nichola on the east side, whose limits abut upon le Bec towards the south and towards the north upon le Sutgate, and one selion lies between the lands of Lady Nichola on the west side and John on the east side, whose limit towards the south abuts upon le Sutgate and the limit towards the north upon the royal street in the east field of Cokerincton [Cockerington], and on the west side of the vill there lie two selions between the land of Peter de Wyham on the west side and the land of Osbert son of Hamelin on the east side, whose limits towards the south abut upon le Bec and the limits towards the north upon the land of Peter de Wyham, and two selions lie between the land of John le Wawasur and Lady Nichola, whose limits abut towards the east upon her land and the land of William de Redebur' [Redbournee] and the limits towards the west upon the land which was formerly of Acer, and one selion lies between the lands of Peter Wyham on the west side and of John le Wawasur on the east side, whose limit towards the south abuts upon the land of Richard Wodecoc and the limit towards the north upon the land of Walter son of Amfelis. Without reservation. To hold to Philip and his heirs of William and his heirs freely and quietly, paying one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all services.
