Description

Folio: 423v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter F. Grant.

First party: William de Redburn [Redbourne].

Second party: Philip Galle of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: One toft in the vill of Cokrington [Cockerington] lying between the land of Lambert Curteys on the west side and the land of Richard le Waleys on the east side, whose limits towards the south abuts upon the way and towards the north upon Gillecroft, with one acre of arable land on the east side of the vill upon Scale between the land of John le Vavassur [Vavasour] on the east side and the land of William de Redburne himself on the west side, and with one acre of arable land on the west side of the vill at Wodeberghes, lying between the land of John le Vavassur on the south side and the land of Gamel on the north side, with all appurtenances, liberties and commons within the vill and outside. For his homage and service. To hold of William and his heirs to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, in inheritance, well and in peace, paying 1d yearly to William and his heirs at Easter for all services, suits of courts and demands.
