First party: John, son of Walter de Wyberton of Holandie [Holland], with the advice and assent of Emma, his wife, and his heirs.

Second party: Peter de Manneby [Manby], son of Odo Galle.

Place or subject: The whole of John's meadow which he had in the vill and territory of Carleton [Carlton] in the place called Langgedeylis next between Peter's meadow on the west side and the meadow of Walter de Asfortby on the east side, and abutting towards the south upon the great bank and towards the north upon the meadow of John de Carleton [Carlton]. Without any reservation, for a certain sum of money which Peter gave to John in advance. To hold to Peter and his heirs and assigns of John and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully and in inheritance, paying yearly to John and his heirs one clove in the quindene of St Botolph for all services, secular customs, suits of court and demands.
