Description

Folio: 415v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.

First party: John, son of Walter de Wyberton of Holandie [Holland].

Second party: Peter, son of Odo Galle of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: Two selions of arable land in the territory of Little Carleton [Little Carlton] on the north side next to Tocyorn, lying between the land of John de Carleton [Carlton] on the north side and the land of Walter de Asfortheby on the south side, and they abut towards the west upon the headland of John de Carleton and towards the east upon the land of William, son of Humphrey de Manneby [Manby]. For a certain sum of money which Peter gave to John in advance. To hold to Peter and his heirs and assigns of John and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully and honourably, in fee and inheritance, well and in peace, paying yearly to John and his heirs one clove in the quindene of St Botolph for all secular services, customs, suits of courts and demands.
