Folios: 414v-415. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.
First party: Peter, son of Odo Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Thomas, son of Robert del Dick of Skytebrock [Skidbrooke].
Place or subject: 8½ acres of arable land in the territory of Skytebrock [Skidbrooke] lying in the field called Melyngfeld. 4½ acres of which lie between the land of Richard son of Walter and the land of William son of Geoffrey on the east side, and the land of the same William and the land of William son of Lawrence on the west side, and they abut towards the north upon the land of Adam Goderig and towards the south upon Dunedick; and 2½ acres lie between the land of Juliana daughter of William on the east side and the land of William son of Adam on the west side, and they abut towards the south upon Godwynegate and towards the north upon the land of William son of Adam; and one and a half acres lie in Saltcroft between the land of Robert son of Alexander on the west side and the land of William son of Geoffrey on the east side, andthey abut towards the north upon the land of Thomas del Dick and towards the south upon Godwynegate. For his homage and service. Without any reservation, for a certain sum of money which Thomas gave to Peter in advance. To hold to Thomas and his heirs and assigns, excepting religious men and Jews, freely, quietly, peacefully and in inheritance, paying yearly to Peter and his heirs 4s 11½d at four terms appointed in the soke, for all secular services, customs, suits of courts and other demands, except that Thomas and his heirs or assigns are to make two appearances at Peter's court every year at Skytebrock [Skidbrooke] and by 'sacrabar', if it runs, namely at the next court after Michaelmas and the next court after Easter.
