Description

Folios: 413v-414. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.

First party: David, son of John de Schitebrock [Skidbrooke].

Second party: Philip Galle.

Place or subject: Two and a half acres of arable land in the territory of Schitebrock [Skidbrooke] lying between the land of Geoffrey son of Simon on the east side and the land of the heirs of Robert del Dic on the west side, and it abuts towards the south upon Geoffrey's land and towards the north upon the land of the heirs of Robert del Dic; and one acre and one perch lying in Thorycroft between the land of Geoffrey son of Simon on the east side and the land of Hawise, relict of Adam the carpenter, on the west side, and abutting twards the south upon the common way and towards the north upon the land of the heirs of William son of Geoffrey. To hold to the said Philip and his heirs as long as David is alive, freely, quietly, well and in peace.
