First party: William, son of Humphrey de Manneby [Manby].
Second party: Peter, son of Odo Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: Five acres and one perch of arable land in the territory of Little Carleton [Little Carlton] on the south side of the vill, namely namely selions lying between the land of John de Cormayles [Cormeilles[ on the east side and the land of Thomas son of Arnold on the west side, the limits of which abut towards the south upon Thirnedic; and four selions abutting similarly towards the south upon the land of John de Carleton [Carlton], and the limits of all those selions abut towards the north upon Lekeburnegate; and three selions lying between the land of John de Carleton on the west side and the land of Robert son of William on the east side, and they abut towards the south upon William's land and towards the north upon the headland of John de Carleton; and three selions lying between the land of John de Carleton on the north side and the land of Robert Maucovenant on the south side, and abutting towards the west upon the land of John de Cormayles and towards the east upon the land of Thomas son of Arnold; and two selions lying between the land of Thomas, son of Thomas son of Arnold, on the west side and the land of William le Berther on the east side, and abutting towards the south upon the land of Robert de Hupthorp and towards the north upon the land of John de Cormayles; also three acres of meadow in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] lying in Kyrnedayle between the meadow of the nuns of Lekeburn [Legbourne] on the east side and the meadow of Philip de Milay on the west side, and they abut towards the south upon William's meadow and towards the north upon the meadow of the nuns of Parco Lude [Louth Park]. For 100s which Peter gave to William in advance in his need. To hold of William and his heirs to Peter and his heirs or assigns freely, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to William and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all services, suits of courts, foreign services, customs and exactions.
