Description

Folio: 410. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.

First party: Richard, son of Robert de Grymmolby [Grimoldby].

Second party: Philip Galle of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: The whole of Richard's share which could fall to him after the death of Robert, his father, in the vill and territory of Schitebroch [Skidbrooke], in arable lands, tofts, crofts, meadows, pastures, waters, ways, paths and in all other places within the vill and outside, with all appurtenances, liberties and easements. For a certain sum of money which Philip gave to Richard in advance. To hold to Richard and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, doing yearly the service which pertains to that share to the lord of the fee for all services and demands.
