Description

Folio: 408. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.

First party: William, son of Gilbert son of Elias de Manneby [Manby].

Second party: Master John Galle of Saltfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: After the death of Gilbert his father, William grants and confirms to John, his heirs and assigns the grant, gift and confirmation which Roger, his brother, being first-born, made to Master John by his charter concerning all lands and tenements in tofts, crofts, buildings, meadows, pastures and pasturages, waters, ways, paths and all appurtenances, and easements once of Gilbert, William's father, in the vill of Manneby [Manby] and outside, just as is more fully contained in Roger's charter made in favour of John.
