Folios: 403-404. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.

First party: Roger, son of Gilbert de Manneby [Manby].

Second party: Master John Galle of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: The whole of Roger's land which he had or could have in the vill and territories of Mannebi [Manby], on both sides of the vill, in tofts, crofts, meadows, pastures, pasturages, waters, ways, paths and in all other places and easements within the vill and outside, without any reservation, namely one toft with buildings, with a croft and appurtenances, lying next between the land of Robert, son of William de Manneby on the south side and the way on the north side, and abutting towards the east upon the way and towards the west upon the land of Robert, son of William, five selions upon four 'thornes' lying next between the land of Robert, son of William on the east side and the land of Roger le Norttopp on the west side, and abutting towards the north upon Midelgate and towards the south upon the headland of John de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby], four selions lying between Robert's land on the south side and the land of Ralph, son of Robert on the north side, abutting towards the west upon Robert's headland and towards the east upon the headland of Walter de Asfordby, three selions at Glenmare lying between the land of Peter Galle on the east side and the land of Ralph, son of Robert son of Honnissie on the west side, and abutting against the north upon Robert's headland and towards the south upon Peter's headland, two selions upon North Westlanges between Peter's land on the south side and Ralph's land on the north side, abutting towards the west upon Robert's headland and towards the east upon the headland of Robert, son of the priest, three selions lying between Robert's lands on the east side and of Ralph on the west side, and abutting towards the north upon Mikelgate and towards the south upon Peter's headland on the east side of the vill, four selions lying between Robert's land on the south side and Ralph's land on the north side, abutting towards the west upon the way and towards the east upon the headland of Walter de Asfordby, four selions lying upon Waldingmaris between the land of John de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] on the east side and the land of Robert, son of Robert on the west side, abutting upon Mikelgat towards the north and towards the south upon Grenegate, four selions upon Walding lying between Robert's land on the east side and the land of Ralph on the west side, and abutting towards the north upon Mikelgate and towards the south upon Braydwater, four selions upon Mikelberch lying between Robert's land Robert on the south side and Ralph's land on the north side, and abutting towards the east upon Robert's land, and towards the west upon the headland of William de Norhttop, and one acre of meadow and three perches in the marsh of Manneby [Manby] lying between Ralph's meadow on the west side and the meadow of John de Saltfletby on the east side, and abutting upon le Fendic and upon le Haa. With appurtenances, buildings, liberties and easements, without any reservation. To hold to John and his heirs and assigns forever freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to the abbot and convent of Wellouu [Wellow] and Grimmesbye [Grimsby] 3s at two terms, namely 18d at the feast of St Botolph and 18d at Michaelmas, for all services, secular customs, suits of courts and demands.
