Description

Folio: 402v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Sale.

First party: Robert, son of Quenlof of Manneby [Manby].

Second party: Andrew, son of Odo Galle of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: The whole land which Robert had in the vill of Manneby [Manby] in right of inheritance, namely one toft between Andrew's land and the land of William at the Church; and three perches of meadow between Andrew's meadow and the meadow of William son of Thomas; one selion between the land of Ranulf son of Quenlof and the land of Osbert son of Jadif; one selion in Aracroft between the land of Osbert son of Jadif and the land of Wiot Ribald; one selion of land upon Waldinc between Andrew's land and the land of Robert son of Robert; one selion upon Mikelberg between the land of Osbert son of Jadif and the land of John son of Isabel; three selions upon Westlanges between Andrew's land and the land of William at the Church; two selions upon the cultivated fields of Litelsic between the land of William son of Thomas and the land of Robert son of Robert;and three selions between le Maras between Andrew's land and the land of Robert son of Robert. To hold of Robert and his heirs to Andrew and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, in right of inheritance, paying 6½d and a third part of one halfpenny yearly to Robert and his heirs at four terms, as is appointed in the soke.
