Description

Folio: 400. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.

First party: Alice, daughter of Schuynn of Schittebroch [Skidbrooke].

Second party: Philip Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: All her right and claim in two acres of land with appurtenances lying in the territory of Schittebroc [Skidbrooke], one and a half acres of which lie next between Philip's land on the north side and the land which was of John son of Schuyn on the south side, and half an acre lies in Guyrneverregren next between Philip's land on the north side and the land of the church on the south side. Which two acres Ranulf, Alice's brother, sold to John, Alice's brother. For a certain sum of money which Philip gave to Alice in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, well and in peace without any challenge or claim from Alice or her heirs, paying yearly the services belonging to that land to the lord of the fee at the terms appointed in the soke.
