First party: Roger de Kanley, with the assent of Lucy, his wife.
Second party: Peter, son of Odo Galle of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: Two selions of arable land in the territory of Little Carlethon [Little Carlton] with appurtenances lying between Peter's land on the north side and the land of John son of Ralph on the south side, whose western limit abuts upon the land of Robert Junior of Carlethon [Carlton] and the eastern limit upon the land of Simon de Asfordeby. For a certain sum of money which Peter gave to Roger in advance. To hold to Peter and his heirs of Roger and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying yearly to Roger and his heirs one clove at the feast of St Botolph for all services, customs, suits of courts and demands.
