Second party: Alice, daughter of John de Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: One plot of the length of fourteen feet and width of twenty-four feet, namely lying at le Dunes between John's land on the south side and le Hutegang on the north side, which abuts towards the east upon John's land and towards the west upon the land of Gilbert son of Mereven, with free entry and exit from the way towards the east towards the sea. To hold to Alice and her heirs or assigns, paying a halfpenny yearly to John and his heirs at the feast of St Botolph for all secular services, customs, suits and demands.
