Folios: 391v-392. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.
First party: Ralph de Diva, prior of the hospital of [the knights of St John of] Jerusalem in England, with the common assent of the brothers of their chapter.
Second party: William son of Robert.
Place or subject: Sixteen acres of land, namely in the parish of Schitebroc [Skidbrooke] and eight in the parish of St Mary of Sumercotes [Somercotes], which they have by the alms of Robert, their father. To hold of that house in right of inheritance, paying 12d yearly to their lord at two terms, namely 6d at Easter and 6d at Michaelmas, for all services and exactions, under this covenant: upon the death of William and his heirs, the whole third part of all their chattels upon this fee will remain to that house.
