Folio: 389v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Grant.
First party: John, son of Robert de Scitebroc [Skidbrooke].
Second party: Robert, son of Hugh de Thawell [Tathwell].
Place or subject: With Garsiana, John's daughter, in marriage. Six acres of arable land in the territory of Schitebrok [Skidbrooke] with appurtenances, namely three acres in Gunwathegrene lying between the land of Hugh Cnotting and the land which was of Walter the parson, and three acres in Aldecroft lying between the land of the church and the land which was of the same Walter the parson; and one acre of meadow in Blukemare lying between the meadow of Harald son of Humphrey and the ditch of Ralph son of Ernise. To hold to Robert and Garsiana and their heirs in tail freely, quietly, well and in peace and honourably, paying 2d to John and his heirs a year at Easter for all secular service and earthly exaction.
