Second party: Henry de Lascy [Lacy], earl of Lincoln and constable of Chester.
Place or subject: The rent of one root of ginger per annum, in which Robert, son of Alan of Westkel [West Keal] was bound to Robert for one plot of meadow lying on the north side of the vill of Hagneby [Hagnaby] in Esteng between the boundary of Hagnaby and the land late of Hugh, son of Richard son of Tobe, which same meadow Robert had by his gift. To hold this rent with appurtenances and all kinds of issues which can come out from a freeman, wards, reliefs and escheats to Henry and his heirs or assigns freely and quietly.
