Description

Folio: 387v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter E. Final concord.

First party: Richard Hendry.

Second party: Hawise de Quency [Quincy], countess of Lincoln.

Place or subject: Ten marks of rent with appurtenances in Scartho. Whereupon an assize of mort d'ancestor was summoned between them in the same court, namely that Richard quitclaimed for himself and the heirs of the countess and her heirs the whole right and claim he had in the whole rent with appurtenances forever. For this concord the countess gave Richard four marks.

County: [Lincolnshire].

Additional people: Made before Robert de Lexinton [Laxton], Ralph de Sulleg'; William de Culewrth [Culworth], Jollan de Neville, Robert de Haia [de la Haye] and Warner Engayne, itinerant justices.

Made in the king's court at Lincoln.
