First party: Master Roger Bacun, proctor for Ralph de Halay, his kinsman.
Second party: Henry de Canelay.
Place or subject: With Roger acting as proctor for Ralph by his letters patent, at a day fixed between Ralph and Henry de Canelay on Friday next before Pentecost, at Walyngford [Wallingford], an amicable agreement was made for Henry and the huge damages and losses emerging: Henry himself and Odo Galle, William de Manneby [Manby], Peter Galle and Walter de Oxecumbe bound themselves for the payment of thirteen marks and a pain according to the form of a charter which they handed over to Roger on that day.
