Folio: 385v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Appointment of attorney.
First party: William son of Jeva and John, his son, of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Walter de Oxcumbe.
Place or subject: William and John have appointed and attorned Walter and his heirs or assigns to pay to the lords of the fee or their heirs 3½d of annual rent at four terms of the year, namely 1d at each of the feasts of St Botolph, Michaelmas and Christmas, and one halfpenny at Easter, for a certain croft they hold of them in the vill of Saltfleteby [Saltfleetby]; and also to pay to the lords of the fees one halfpenny of annual rent for half an acre of land they hold of them in the vill of Saltfleetby, for all services and demands, just as the charters which Walter and his heirs have from William and John bear witness.
