Description

Folios: 384v-385. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: Adam le Vavasur [Vavasour] of Salfledeb' [Saltfleetby], Walter son of Andrew, and Alice and Agnes, daughters of Ranulf.

Second party: Andrew the chaplain, son of Robert.

Place or subject: Two acres of meadow in Salfledeb' [Saltfleetby] lying on the west side of Boreltofte between the land of Andrew himself and the land which was of William son of Robert, and extending in length from Maredic on the south side as far as the land of Richard son of Humphrey on the north side. Fully and entirely without any reservation, in pure and perpetual exchange for two acres of meadow lying in the same meadows between the meadow which was of Osbert le Franceis on the one side and the meadow of Robert son of Ivetta on the other side, extending in length from Maredic on the south side as far as the land of Richard son of Humphrey on the north side. To hold freely, quietly and in inheritance without service, exaction and custom.
