First party: Nicholaa de Haia [de la Haye], widow.
Second party: Simon son of William.
Place or subject: Eight acres of land which Peter son of Alberga formerly held, lying next to the land of Ralph le Franceys towards the north. For his homage and service. To hold to Simon and his heirs of Nicholaa and her heirs freely, quietly and in inheritance, paying 5s 4d yearly to her and her heirs at four terms, namely 16d at each of the feasts of St Botolph, Michaelmas, St Andrew and Easter; and making the ditch of the sea and marsh as far as it pertains to the land, for all service, saving foreign service of the king.
