First party: Thomas James, son of Hugh, son of Godric of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip, son of Odo Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: The whole land which Thomas had in the vill of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] lying between the land of Gilbert, Thomas's brother, on the south side and the land of Robert, Thomas's brother, on the north side, and it extends in length from Aapol towards the west as far as the land of John, Thomas's brother, towards the east, namely a fourth part of the toft which was of Hugh, Thomas's brother; with buildings and all appurtenances. To hold to Philip and his heirs or assigns of Thomas and his heirs freely and peacefully in fee and inheritance, paying 2d yearly to Thomas and his heirs, namely 0½d at each of the feasts of Christmas, Easter, St Botolph and Michaelmas, for all services, customs and exactions.
