Second party: Philip, son of Odo Galle of the same vill.
Place or subject: One selion of land lying in the place called Thirnholm between the land of the monks of Parco Lude [Louth Park] on the west side and the land of the heirs of Hugh son of Godric on the east side, and it extends in length from the land which was of Peter Galle towards the north as far as le Midelgate towards the south. To hold to Philip and his heirs or assigns of Robert and his heirs freely, peacefully and in inheritance, paying 2d yearly to Robert and his heirs at two terms of the year, namely 1d at Christmas and 1d at Michaelmas for all services, customs and exactions.
