First party: John, son of Robert the painter (pictoris) of Saltfleteby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Sibyl, daughter of Odo the reeve of Karletonia [Carlton].
Place or subject: The whole of that land in the territory of Salfletebi [Saltfleetby] which John acquired from Wygot de Holm, Walter, his son, Gilbert, son of Wygot de Salfletebi [Saltfleetby], and William, son of Gilbert Futur of Holm, just as the charters bear witness that John has from Wygot, Walter, Gilbert and William. For her service. To hold to Sibyl and her heirs freely, quietly, in fee and inheritance, paying 7d yearly to John and his heirs at four terms, namely 1½d at Christmas, 1½d at Easter, 2½d at the feast of St Botolph, and 1½d at Michaelmas, for all earthly service, secular exaction and custom.
