Description

Folio: 380v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: William Gamel, son of Robert de Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: One place of pasture lying in the placecalled Latlandes between the land of Roger, son of Walter at the Church, on the west side and the land of the heirs of Richard son of Humphrey on the east side, and abutting towards the north upon le Adich and towards the south upon le Ha. And it extends in width through the middle of le Ha and Hadich entirely four 'falls'. Without any reservation. For a certain sum of money which Philip gave to William in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully, in fee and inheritance, paying 2d yearly to William and his heirs at the feast of St Botolph for all services, secular customs, suits of courts and demands.
