First party: Ralph, son of Gilbert de Sutton.
Second party: Philip Galle.
Place or subject: Eighteen acres of land lying in Salfleteby [Saltfleetby], ten acres of which lie between the land of Andrew son of William on the east side and the land which was of Robert le Norn, on the west side, and eight acres lie between the land which was of William le Boner on the west side and the land which was of Robert le Norne on the east side, whose limits abut upon le Neudic towards the south and towards the north upon Thuerlandes, and the land of Richard son of Humphrey. To hold to Philip and his heirs of Ralph and his heirs freely and quietly, absolutely and in inheritance, paying yearly to Ralph and his heirs one pound of pepper at the feast of St Botolph for all service and secular exaction.
