Description

Folio: 376. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Quitclaim.

First party: Hawise, late wife of John Gamel of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Master John, son of Odo Galle of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: The whole of Hawise's right and claim in the name of dower, inheritance or any other way in any lands, tenements, arable lands, meadows, pastures, pasturages, ditches and all and singular tenements which Master Philip Galle and Master John himself had by the gift or sale of John, her late husband, in the vill and territory of Salfleteby [Saltfleetby], with all appurtenances. For a certain sum of money which Master John gave to Hawise in advance. To hold to Master John and his heirs and assigns forever, quit, free and absolute from all exaction and demand from Hawise or her heirs.

County: [Lincolnshire].
