First party: John, son of Odo Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: William le Neucumen of the same vill.
Place or subject: One toft with buildings, in which toft Christiana Lel was accustomed to live, lying on the south side of Yowehet, and on the east side of the toft of Clement son of Anger, with all appurtenances, liberties and easements belonging to that toft. For his homage and service. To hold to William and his heirs of John and his heirs freely, quietly, peacefully and in inheritance, paying 18d yearly to John and his heirs during the whole of his life at the four terms appointed in the soke of Gaythona [Gayton le Wold]. William's heirs are to pay 2s 6d a year after his death to John and his heirs at these four terms for all secular services, except that William and his heirs are to make a bank between the sea and freshwater and other commons belonging to that toft.
