Folio: 374v. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Obligation.
First party: Roger, son of Alan de Cobeldyk.
Second party: John, son of Peter Galle.
Place or subject: Roger acknowledges that he is bound to John in fealty, patronage and aid in all matters concerning him at his costs, whenever he wishes. If it happens that John incurs any damages or loss by Roger's default, then it will be lawful for John to distrain in all the lands of Welton, handed over by him to John, until satisfaction has been made.
