Description

Folios: 367v-368. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Grant.

First party: William, son of Osbert Frankys of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: Philip Galle of the same vill.

Place or subject: Nine acres of arable land in the territory of Saltfletby [Saltfleetby] lying in the place called Sualn, between the lands of the heirs of Peter Galle and Solomon Neucomhen on the west side and the land of Hugh de le Croftes on the east side, the sides of which abut towards the north upon le Grest and towards the south upon le Flete, namely the whole land which William had or could have there, with appurtenances and easements pertaining to that land. For 100s. To hold to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly, well, in peace, fee and inheritance, paying yearly to the lord of the fee the service which pertains to that land, for all services, secular customs, suits of courts and demands.
