Second party: Philip Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: The whole land, namely three acres, without any reservation, lying between the land of the parson of the church of Manneby [Manby] on the west side, and the land of Walter de Oxcumbe on the east side, whose limits abut upon Maredic towards the north and upon Midelgate towards the south. This tenement lies in the territory of Salfetby [Saltfleetby] in a place called le Holm, between Maredic and le Midelgate. To hold of William and his heirs to Philip and his heirs or assigns freely, quietly, absolutely and peacefully in right of inheritance, paying yearly to William and his heirs one clove for all earthly services and secular exactions, customs and demands.
