Description

Folios: 364v-365. Honor of Bolyngbrok [Bolingbroke], in one box, marked by the letter D. Quitclaim.

First party: Maud, late wife of William the smith of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].

Second party: John, son of Odo Galle of Salfletby [Saltfleetby].

Place or subject: All her right and claim in four selions of arable land lying in the territory of Salfletby [Saltfleetby], one selion of which lies in a place called Ragnildcroft, between John's lands on both sides, and it abuts towards the south upon le Daylegate and towards the north upon Neudicgate, and one selion lies on the north side of Neudic between the land which was of Walter son of Petronella on the east side and the land which was of Ranulf son of Gilbert on the west side, and it abuts towards the north upon the court of the rector of the church of St Clement. And two selions lie on the north side of the land of Alan Pinning between the land of John son of John on the east side and the land which was of Walter Perunell on the west side, and they abut towards the north upon the land of John son of John and the land which was of Walter Perunell. For one mark which John gave to Maud in advance.
