First party: William, son of Walter de Salfledby [Saltfleetby].
Second party: Philip Galle, son of Odo Galle of Salfledbi [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: Three acres of land lying in Salfledbi [Saltfleetby], namely in a place called Sualnhe, between the land of Eva de Luda [Louth] on the west side and the land which was of Solomon le Neucumen on the east side, whose northern limit abuts upon le Griste and towards the south upon le Flete. For three marks which Philip gave to William in advance. To hold to Philip and his heirs of William and his heirs freely, quietly and honourably in right of inheritance and peace, paying 6d yearly to William and his heirs, namely 1½d at each of the feasts of Christmas, Easter, St Botolph and Michaelmas, for all secular service, exaction and demand.
