Place or subject: One area of land (lancerium) lying between Philip's land and Gilbert's land, whose limits abut upon le Aa towards the south and upon le Adic towards the north. To hold of Gilbert and his heirs to Philip and his heirs freely, quietly and peacefully, paying yearly to Gilbert and his heirs one apple at Michaelmas for all service and secular exaction and demand.
