First party: Martin le Curtays of Jardburc [Yarburgh].
Second party: John, son of Odo Galle of Salfletebi [Saltfleetby].
Place or subject: One acre of arable land lying in the territory of Salfletebi [Saltfleetby] in the parish of St Clement, whose limits abut upon Grist and Huflet, and it lies between the land of the church of St Clement and the land of Algar; and the third part of one acre of meadow lying in Kirnedayle. For 10s which John gave to Martin for this land. To hold to John and his heirs freely, quietly, absolutely and honourably, paying 2d yearly to him and his heirs, namely 1d at the feast of St Botolph and 1d at Michaelmas, for all earthly service and secular exaction.
